AIPC Private Assessments
As a student in Western Australia, completing teh AIPC Diploma of Counselling, you are required to attend workshops at the Perth office. We understand that 'life happens' and you may not be able to attend all the required weekend workshops for one reason or another. If you are eligible for private assessments (i.e.: you have completed and been competent of the appropriate units) you are able to request a private assessment.
In order to request a private assessment, there are a few steps that you need to follow:
- Complete the required units
- Ask permission from Lisa Green at the Perth Office (08 9228 3026)
- Contact Amanda to request a suitable day/time arrangement
- Contact Lisa Green to pay the administration fee and receive the information pack and,
- Attend the private assessment
The fee structure for a private assessment is two-fold. Firstly, there is a $20 administration fee that is required to be paid directly to Lisa Green at the AIPC Perth Office and secondly, there's the private assessment fee that is paid directly to Amanda (cash, cheque, direct debit, paypal). The fee for a one-day workshop, which translates into approximately a 1 to 2-hour private assessment is $130. The fee for a two-day workshop, which translates into approximately a 3 to 5-hour private assessment is $260.
In some cases, if enough notice is given when scheduling the private assessments, we can find additional students to complete the assessments. If this is not the case, then you may be required to bring 1-4 volunteers for the role-play component of the assessment.
